Le Casematte vineyard lies in the northeast of Sicily, near Messina. The wine shows a brilliant ruby red color with purple violet reflections. Aromas of small red fruits like berries combined with floral notes. Warm hints of carob, liquorice and spices. Fresh due to the present acidity but with good body and rich fruitiness. Elegant lively tannins providing structure without harshness. Serving temperature between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius. Pairs well with grilled and roasted red meat, game dishes, matured cheeses or rich savory side dishes.
